On May 15, 2015, Leon and his brother, singer-songwriter Billy, performed the hit song, “Lonesome Day,” on the set of their upcoming movie, the Fast and the Furious 7, as a tribute to the late singer-producer.
(They had to do it on a rainy day in Los Angeles.)
While many in the music world have been trying to figure out why this song is so beloved, the singer-producers have some answers.
“Lone Star” is one of the greatest songs of all time, but there’s more to it than that, says Singer.
There’s the chorus that starts the song, and then there’s the lyrics that describe the way his brother’s soul is trapped in his body.
The lyrics explain that while he has a lot of power in his own life, he’s trapped in the body of a child.
“That’s why the song’s so beautiful,” Singer says.
“You see his face and you can tell that he’s in pain, but you don’t know what’s happening to him.”
The song’s lyrics also reflect how the artist’s family is trying to raise him to become a man.
“He has the power to change his life, but it’s like his father’s power,” says Singer, who also wrote the lyrics for the song.
“And then there is this part where he sings, ‘You can see my face and I can see your face.’
And that’s the real power of this song.
You see his soul, and you know what it’s going through.”
The lyrics in the song also reflect the pain that Leon has been experiencing in his life.
“I’m tired of being sick and tired of feeling sad,” he sings.
“Every night I see that the sky is falling and the clouds are rising.
I see you, you’re not there, but the sky keeps falling, and the sky rises.
And when it comes to my father, I don’t even want to see him.”
When asked about the lyrics, Singer says, “They are about my brother’s life.
The rest is just a reflection of the way my life is.”
That’s not all.
Singer also says the song is about “a lot of other things,” but he won’t say much about the subject of the song other than that the lyrics “are about a lot” of other issues that have come up in the past few years.
Singer says that he is proud of the lyrics and the song as well.
“It’s a song that is about love, but also about love of your brother, and love of yourself, and everything in between,” Singer tells us.
“As an artist, I love to talk about what I’m feeling, but I also feel like this song has a very powerful message, and that’s why it’s a huge success.”
But if there’s one thing Singer is really proud of, it’s that he didn’t go through the songwriting process of making it as a solo artist.
“The songs I write are all about my family,” he says.
Singer has been working on the song since 2007 and has only recently released it on his own.
“Since I first started making music, I always felt like there were too many rules to the game.
And then one day, when I realized there were no rules, I realized that you just have to let it be,” he explains.
“Sometimes it’s difficult to make songs that you feel like you can be a part of.
I’ve learned that a lot through this songwriting.”
“Lon’s song has been a source of inspiration for me,” says singer-singer Leon, who’s also the brother of Billy Singer.
“When I write a song, I try to write a good song, but in the end, it has to be a love song.
So it was nice to be able to express that.
I also wanted the song to be about something bigger than myself.
I wanted to say something for my brother, my father and for the world.”
Singer and his siblings have made an effort to make their song a celebration of the past, something that’s reflected in the lyrics.
“For the past five years, we’ve been talking about this song with my brother,” he tells us, “and now it’s finally time to share it with the world.
The song is the one that was written by my brother and Billy and the way it was written, it was the one we talked about when we were kids, and now it is the song that everybody is talking about.
So we’re excited to share this song to the world and the world to us.
It’s going to be great to hear the reaction from the world in the future.”
