Avant star and vocalist Eric Angelo has died in a plane crash in Italy, according to Italian media.

The singer and songwriter died in the crash of his plane in the town of Lazzaro, near the Italian border, according the Il Giornale newspaper.

According to the newspaper, Angelo’s body was found on Thursday morning.

He had just completed his first solo performance at the Viva la Vida Festival in Rome, Italy, which is being held on Saturday.

The 40-year-old was reported to have suffered injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.

Angelo was known for his powerful vocal performances, and was known as a member of the avant-rock band Avant.

He joined the Avant family in 1991, after having been a member since 1985.

His wife, Marissa Angelo, has also left the group.
