Kathy Jordan, who had been a vocalist and songwriter with the group The Sealed Sisters, has died.

The singer, known for her vocal and guitar work, had been battling Parkinsonism for years, and her death is a blow to the rock and roll community.

She had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s at the age of 56 in 2012, but she had no known symptoms until 2015, according to her family.

The Seals’ album, In The Park, was released in 2014 and was nominated for a Grammy.

Jordan had been in a relationship with actor Steve Buscemi since 1991, and the two had been together for 25 years.

In addition to performing live, Jordan was also an active member of the band, and she had written and produced the group’s songs and had performed them in public venues.

She died on Tuesday at her home in Los Angeles, where she had lived for most of her life.

“Kathy was loved by all of us and we will miss her dearly,” her family said in a statement.

“She was one of the greatest people I’ve ever met, a true friend, a great friend, and a true singer.”

Jordan, born Kathy E. Jordan, first began singing at the young age of seven.

She performed on a variety of bands, including the Sealed Brothers and The Seaveness Sisters.

She also sang on several radio shows and on Broadway.

The group was active for years in Los Gatos and elsewhere in the Los Angeles area, and it is believed to have played a role in many of the local charities that Jordan helped fund.

“My heart goes out to Kathy and her family,” Buscemis said in the statement.

Buscemini is survived by his wife, Marjorie, and two children, Max, six, and Lily, three.

“Our deepest condolences go out to her husband, daughter, and brother,” Bussemis said.

Bussemini, a veteran of numerous Hollywood projects, including his role in the blockbuster movie The Social Network, was best known for playing John Goodman on the hit TV show, Breaking Bad.

“I am very sad to hear that Kathy passed away,” Busseedi said in an Instagram post.

“Her spirit and the Seals spirit will live on forever.

The world will miss you Kathy, a truly wonderful person.”

Busseedis wife of 22 years, Mary, also shared her sadness.

“Sad day.

I loved Kathy and she will be missed,” Mary Busseed said in her own post.

Jordan was known for singing her songs, including “My Love” and “I’ll Be Gone”.

“I always had a great voice, a big heart, and I could sing in the best voice, the best way, the sweetest voice,” she told the San Francisco Chronicle in 2014.

“But there were moments when I would be on stage and I would cry.”

Jordan is survived, by her family, by a son, Jason, and three grandchildren.

The band was formed in 1969, and had sold more than 400 million records worldwide.

“We are incredibly proud of our legacy, and so much love and respect to all of our fans,” Bussemis statement read.

“The Sealed Songs are forever etched in our hearts and are deeply touched by our fans.”

Bussems band was a part of the legendary rock band, The Rolling Stones, and played gigs across the US and Europe.

Busseedin said the group would continue to tour.

“There will always be people that will miss the band,” he said.

“It’s not like we’re going away.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help pay for Jordan’s funeral.
