The next Godzilla game is coming soon.

In fact, that’s the official statement from Capcom’s Patrick Söderlund, who has been teasing the title for some time now.

While it’s not exactly a confirmed date, the game is expected to be released on March 10, 2019, so Capcom needs to be on the lookout for any clues in the near future.

It sounds like there will be no traditional sequel to the franchise’s previous trilogy, and this new game will be a direct sequel to “Godzilla vs. Kaiju.”

As for what that means for the rest of the series, Capcom has yet to make a formal announcement, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

It’s also worth noting that the new game is being developed by “Dynamix,” the same team behind the recent “God of War” remaster.

The “Godfather” series has never had an official sequel, but in this case, it’s clear that the developers are taking the franchise back to its roots and embracing its modern-day setting.

We’ll have to see if “Godzillas” proves to be a good match for the “God” reboot, but we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this new release.
